Vein on kääritatud kontrollitud temperatuuril roostevabast terasest tankides üks nädal. Seejärel on vein laagerdunud Ameerika ja Prantsuse tammevaatides ca 6 kuud. Veinil on sügav kirsipunane värv. Aroomis tunda punaseid marju (maasikaid), mida vürtsitab must pipar. Maitse on jõuline ja samas pehme ning sametine, delikaatne tasakaalukas hape. Sangre de Toro (tõlkes härja veri) valmistamiseks valitud viinamarjad pärinevad hoolikalt valitud veiniistandustest. See ikooniline vein on jäänud truuks oma algupärasele stiilile alates aastast 1954, mil nägi ilmavalgust kõige esimene Sangre de Toro aastakäik. Sisaldab sulfiteid.
